Well you are certainly looking in the right direction. I am sure you already know that scout scopes are simply pistol scopes, so with that in mind you will need to have a "TRY-GUN" set up at the point of purchase this will allow you you to shoulder the stock and try different scopes to see which one suits your needs. The down side with extended eye relief scopes(EER) Is that it is easy for the scope to go black on you or half moon shadow as you look down the rifle. So just like eye glasses you should try to find one that fits your eye need and rifle mounting style when you shoulder your mounted weapon.
