This is an excellent example of a gallery gun from the 1930’s. It has a very smooth action and the bore is bright and shinny. Both serial number match. It can shoot .22 short, long and long rifle. I am selling it for the widow as she has no use for it. $1299 + shipping. t.schultz5@roadrunner.com
It seams that was being a bit optimistic as to the asking price of the 22 Rifle. On further investigation it looks like it is worth more like $700. I will adjust my asking price accordingly.
I was really wishing you luck on the sale of the rifle.
I really like the model 62's and you don't find many of them for sale. When you do they have been "redone" - often poorly!!
You will have to adjust your price as needed to find a buyer. I have one I bought a few years ago - vintage 1946.........great guns.
The only rifle my old man ever owned - I tried to get his after he died but his spouse said he had sold it years ago.
Again, Good Luck with your sale. I hope you are able to help out the widow lady.
