597 Remington

    Has anyone here ever shot a 597 Remington? Are they good guns? Are they accurate?

    yes, i have one. thier really nice guns, they dont jam. i'd go with the synthetic stock over wood stock though.

    Yep..nice little gun, synthetic stock, I slapped a 4x scope on it and it's a lot of gun for the money.

    same here i put a tasco 4*15 scope and got a ot of squirrels, jams a little with the remington thunderbolt .22s

    I own a 597 and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good .22LR. It is accurate and with a Bushnell scope lots of fun too.
