Hi folks.
Over the holidays I bought a 6.5 Grendel upper to go on my ar 15 and some ammo as well as some brass and bullets.
It has been way to cold and too much ice on the ground to go out and shoot it but as soon as we moderate some I will try it out.
Has anyone tried any hand loads for this cartridge yet?
I will post when I do shoot it.

Anyone ever heard of the 6.5 Grendel?
I have seen firsthand folks shooting at 450 yards and posting impressive groups.
I still have not shot mine but will as soon as the snow melts enough to get the gate open at the range.

Hi OttoJack,I got a chance to shoot it last week but had some extraction problems.
I contacted the company I got it from and they said to super clean the chamber.
They said the barrels are made and then they put a rust inhibitor in there as it may sit awhile and that turns into a thick paste when shot so a new clean chamber brush was necessary to get the crud out.
It now shoots every time but I have not broken the barrel yet so I need to do that before I shoot for groups but let all know what happens when I do get it broken in.I love it so far.DS
