I've got an old Swedish mauser bolt action carbine in 6.5 and was wondering what size brush you would use to clean the barrel. I never seem to find any 6.5 brushes so is there a differnet round that is about the same size? Thanks for the help.

6.5=.264 so it's a tweener in the middle of .257 and 270 (.277). The 270 would be the best choice until you can get a 6.5. Midway has 6.5 brushes made by Tipton in the flyer I just looked thru.
    Hope this helps

If you go to the Dewey site, you can get brushes, jags, and pretty much anything else for 6.5mm rifles and other slightly less common calibers.
