A few weeks ago my cousin jeremy shot an atelope at 500 yards with a howa lightning 1500(not sure if thats the model) chambered in 270WSM, that shot made me decide to keep my 270 wsm and let my cousin relode the ammo for me. Just thought i would tell u because i thougyht that was pretty kool

:roll: A pretty well known Marine Colonel once said that anyone who took a shot (snipers excepted) at more than 300 yards should be made to immediately sit down and write a report explaining his action. :shock: Just one old bird's opinion...

i dont know of a better shot or a safer gun handler than my cousin he knew how fast the wind was blowing how far the shot was, the exact velocity of the handloads, how high he had to aim, and he put the bullet rite where he wanted it to.
