I have been trying to get an avatar of a Remington pump model 7600 for my avatar but cannot seem to get one the proper size. Every time I copy it and try to enter it, I am told that is not small enough. I understand that it has to be no more then 80X80 pixels but cannt seem to get it there. I have tried to even change it in my photo program but no luck. What can I do to get this Avatar? I would really like to have it.

What do I post?
I have the picture now in "my pictures".
I took it from the Remington site. All I did was go to centerfire and find the 7600 pump, not synthetic but wood and copied the picture.

ok, try one of these. they have both been resized to 100x100 pixels. they might be a little bit too big, though.

i tried making them 80x80 pixels, but the problem with making them that small is that they get so distorted, that you can hardley tell what they are.

if the ones i posted above dont work, would you like an avatar with remington's logo in it, or something like that?

I had same trouble trying to down size it as well.
I would like the Remington logo if you can do that one.

i got them resized just fine, but im having trouble posting the pictures from the site i use to host them.

i'll figure out a way to get them up a little bit later on. i'll make a remington avatar too, and then you can choose which one you want.

I resized it down to 100 x 20 and it looks to be about the right size to fit in the area available on this forum. You might try that.

I had not read all the details of the 'instructions'. Now it is down to 80 wide by 15 high and works for me.

I appreciate all the efforts. I can always wait until we get a North Carolina Flag and use that I guess.

Thanks, but it will not let me use that one. The file has to be less then 6kb.
I will continue to use the Remy Logo until a better Remington logo can be found.
I think I am better off with the Remy logo any way as the rifle is so small, you cannot tell what it is.
Thanks to you and Chips for all the help. Chips said he is still looking for a better Remy logo so I am really curious as to what he can find next.
