Let's see ,firing a 30-06 in the common direction of a Squill , say a 45 degree angle, would send a 150 (approx) grain rifle bullet HOW FAR? How many times has anyone here heard of someone a couple of miles away getting hit and seriously injured? Is that the type of behavior we want to promote? What happened to the "know your target and what's behind it" mantra?

Besides, Big Moma sounds like a supermodel compared to what I have at home...

He might have been your favorite and some of the others...but he certainly wasn't mine,or most of the folks I knew on the other site...I never agreed with his telling of taking squirrels out of season or suppossed shooting them with an 30-06....I know this can be debated as a censorship issue...but I don't really see the need for his type of behaviour or his style of posting in all Caps,and yes I know I can choose to ignore him here as I did there too. What I worry about is how his style of writting,and his content of his post can be taken,by some to show how ignorant hunters and shooters can be portrayed in general,I realize that he is only a figment of someones fertile imagination, meant only to inject a little humor by his story telling,and his style of writting.Still all in all one has to look at the bigger picture..in that by acceptance of his character by some as a real persona,and defending his dangerous and illegal antics,they are accepting and defending his right to continue acting in a rather dangerous practice and what would other wise be consideredas a illeagal activity...poaching... by the taking of a game spieces out of season. While some may be able to distiguish the difference...others may not...and perhaps feel that it ok for them to do the same as he...and that really wouldn't be setting a good example..now would it....This is just my humble opinion...
