What do you guys know about Pythons in calibers other than .357?

I have a Python .38 Target that is nickel plated although many books say it was made in blue only. I called up Colt, and there were 210 made in 1980-81.

For many years, I have heard of Pythons in other calibers such as .22 LR, .22 Mag, .41 Mag, and even .256 Win Mag. Have any of you encountered one of these? I have seen some books that acknowledge their existance, but no photos.

Thanks for your help,

Rawhyde

Rawhide I have owned as many as 4 pythons at one time.I use to hit all the gunshows, the only calibers I personally seen is the 357,and 38,I never heard of the 22 or any thing else, that doesn't mean they don't exsist, they my be too valuble to trade and few that would have the money to get the odd calibers would most likely keep them.Find Colts website and ask. Some custom gunmakers can rechamber?rebarrell any gun,so it may be a custom job.Search colt's web site and find the contact us bar.Drop-Shot
