Who is ready for deer season?

Are you kidding? I've been watching the same dandy four point (8 point for you folks in the east :lol: ) for the last week and a half. He shows up at the same time and place about a mile from my house.

It's nearly three months to our firearms season, one until the bow season which I don't participate in. About 2 and 1/2 months until the trip tp Montana. I am not thinking of it too much, the bird seasons are a much bigger concern and begin in 13 days for me. Deer hunting is something I do because it is too dangerous in the woods or fields for a dog at that time. Montana is the exception, there is enough space and few hunters so a combo hunt is usually possible.

This year I hope to try some new spots. Saw some big deer this summer driving around.Cant wait.
