Hello. I felt bad that Sigarms didn't have any posts so I felt compelled to visit. Did you know there is an echo of key strokes in here?

Having recently become a Sig owner for the first :D time, I'll say "HELLO" back atcha. I'm very pleased with the appearance and the handling characteristics of my P239. It just seems to
"present" itself to me when I pop open my fannypack/holster.

You know, I made that post a long time ago, but I guess it is fate that you posted on this thread, because I'm actually in the process of getting the money together to but a 239.

I'm glad you like yours. I've owned a 229 and I wasn't real happy with it, and I have a 220 that is outstanding, but I needed a compact gun for carry purposes. Down here in Texas, we can't always dress to hide such a large gun like the 220.

Yeah the 239 I think is the way to go. I have a Walther PPK/S but it's just a little too small. I mean, .380 ACP is ok and all, but I'd feel better with 9mm or better yet, .40 S&W.

Yes, I totally agree that the .380 is "a little small". Had the PPK/S also... accurate as a lazer, but just not enough umph for me. Sold the .380 and a S&W 640 .38 and just got around to getting the Sig for CCW... it is a .40 and has surprisingly little felt recoil. And, it's a pleasure to pack after toting around a full sized 9mm for a few months.
Hope you enjoy your 239!
