Henry lever action 22

I recently purchased a new Henry lever action 22 mdl. H001 for my 13 year old daughter. I am impressed with the smooth action and the accuracy. I paid $187 plus tax for this rifle, and I am amazed at the quality for the price. Anyone else have any knowledge of this company?

I have a goldenboy .22 from henry and it is a good shooter. Very smooth lever action and I have a scope mounted on it and at 50 yards they all touch what else can I ask.

My brother bought a .17 a few months ago and it puts any of the .22 rimfires to shame. He shot a fox at about 50 yards with the V-Max ammo and it blew the whole side out of it. I don't know about you but I've never seen a .22 do that.
GWP,

That's some serious ammo, to blow out the side of the animal. Wow! I want a .17, sooner or later.

Well a fox isn't exactly big or tough but it looked to me like the .17 is a pretty good varmint round out to around 100 yards. Those Hornady V-Max bullets are pretty impresive, I seen them perform like that in other calibers as well.
Thanks guys,It gives me an idea that the person that shot a coyote and it ran off yelling had poor shot placement.I have really heard alot of good things about henry but the cantelever scope mount turns me off ,and I have heard alot about NEF.I have a marlin 39A and that has taken alot of game. But I have the new bug about the 17 HRM and one day I'll scratch that itch.Drop-Shot
