I have acquired a few rifles over the years and have two that I think are unique. They are as follows:

A. Interarms 22 Long/Short - Long Rifle in Stainless or Nickel - Model 62SA - It is a pump and on the barrel says "Amadeo Rossi S.A." and "Alexandra, VA. Also says, Made in Brazil. I got this rifle from a relative that shot less than 50 rounds thru it. Looks like new!

B. Winchester Model 74, 22 Long Rifle, made in New Haven, Conn. Was my Grandfathers. Loads from the Butt and is gas operated, shoots each round as fast as you can pull the trigger.

Any information you could share with me would be great - I am thinking about selling them in the near future.

re: Interarms Stainless & Winchester Model 74 - need inf

Merton,

Your Model 62 was made in Brazil by the Rossi company. It is a copy of the old Winchester Model 62 - great little rifles/carbines.

They are now being made by Taurus in Brazil - along with a load of other "American" guns.

Here is a link to their site:

The 62 is a very good design and no matter who makes them they seem to last forever.

Congratulations on yours.
