Is there a Rem 721 composite stock made?

    Looking for a composite stock for my Remington 721. can't find one! Can anyone help me out?

    I'm not sure what the websites name is, but Cabelas website sells stocks. Just put in www.cabelas.com. Or where I live they have gun shows you could just look there.I always see people making stocks there. Sorry I only have limited information, but I hope it helps.

    Is yours a long or short action? Being a 721, I assume it is a standard length.

    With some reworking, a Rem 700 standard length will work, but you have to do some detailed work...I'd like to put one on my old 300H&H 721, but it is more work than I feel is worth the change over.

    I wish someone would buy my 721 in 30-06, so I won't have to agonize over the same problem... :wink: :wink: :wink:

    It's a long action bolt. I was wondering about the 700 stocks. And I also wonder if it's worth it.
