Have a chance to pick up a little used one, less than a box in it, for 250. only ones online i see new go for about 330. What say you gents? it's a 3030 caliber, dang good shape. Never a bad idea to have a lever gun around, eh? Good woods gun.

    Ask yourself two questions.

    Do I like it?

    Can I afford it?

If you answered yes to both. Take it home! :D

I have the 35 rem in a marlin336,both are great cartridges, the 30/30 has better prices on ammo and 35 rem can be hard to find,30/30 is a great choice and you won't feel sorry you spent the money for it.Just my opinion.Drop-Shot

    DS-

I passed on it, not because I don't want it, but looked at a couple of other factors, like money flow, and it would tighten my budget up a little too much. I opted to keep on shooting a 7 mm mag I've got rigged up for deer this year. It'll do the trick, but I love lever guns! ;) Soon.
