I was cleaning my model 62win. today and noticed some markings that I had never seen before. They are on the front of the receiver just below the magazine. All the markings are is the letters C R . It has proof marks on the barrel so I don't think that is what this is. I was wondering if any of you have noticed these markings on your model 62? I'd also like to know what it means if any of you know.
