Many of the older rifles Interarms imported were built on Mauser 98 type actions or copies of them and are considered at least fair in quality. The used Interarms guns I've seen in the upper Mid-West generally were priced about 10-15% less than a similar Remington or Winchester; I guess in the Savage range. I haven't seen a new one, if they are still being imported, but would look closely at where they are manufactured. Interarms is an importer, not a maker, and they sell some guns based on a price point rather than a quality point. With more info, someone should be able to give you a better idea of the gun's value.
