Any suggestions on a press. I will be using it for 458 Lott.
I currently have nothing so I will most likey be getting one of the package deals. Is a turret press as strong as a single?
Price is not a determining factor but it has to be good.

Thanks
Mike

Lee, RCBS, Redding, Dillon - - - they're all decent equipment, turret or single. Some are a little easier to use, some have some nifty features. Any of them will do the job for you, as long as they can handle the case length.

If the .458 Lott is the only cartridge you're going to reload, I don't envision you loading and shooting a great many rounds, so you don't need to spend the extra on a turret press. I've never shot one, but I've shot a .458 Win Mag, and that quit being fun after about 5 rounds.
Always,

Whatever press you decide upon, make sure it re-installs teeth.

That 458 Lott is a bone jarring round. It is like two 338's going off at the same time.

Any good modern coax type press will work just fine. There is little taper and no shoulder or tight neck resizing involved in reloading the Lott; it is an easy round to load...just a &*(%%#%## to shoot...

I was going to have my 1914 Enfield based 458 Win re-worked into the Lott...until I shot one...NO THANKS, and I shoot some big stuff... :(
