I just bought a Remington Model 760 Gamemaster chambered in .308 Win. I was wondering if anyone could help me date the gun. I was on Remingtons website and according to the table the only year the 760 was chambered .308 was 1957. I was wondering if this is true or not. Any help is much appreciated.

not to jack the thread but i also have a 760 gamemaster but 30-06 and would like a date and value also. the serial is 57**
