If any of ya'll have a 22 mag that you think needs a little better accuracy, try this newest offering from Rem. I think a company has finally produced a true Mag bullet, instead of stuffing in a 22lr bullet. These things shoot awsome from my Marlin. My brotherinlaw in Ga told me that his ruger 77m is like a new gun. He had taken off the original barrel and bought a 17 barrel because the accuracy stunk with all ammo tried. He bought a box of this on a whim, reinstalled mag barrel and went to the range. The 17 barrel is sitting in a corner now! It may sound like a lie but I'm shooting about 1 in groups at 100 yds. At 50 yds I'm shooting almost the same hole. WATCH OUT BUSHYTAILS! I"M COMING FOR YOUR HEADS!!!

I shoot a Marlin 25mn, 1:1/16 micro-grove. It seems to prefer the 40 grain ammo, but Remington's 40 gr psp is my personal all around favorite.
Accurate, and usefull; no so damaging to small game, even to squirrel. Now when I go scouting or varmint huntin with this rifle I'll take Winchester's 40 gr jhp - the 'partition' of 22wmr. Anyhow back to the Rem. ammo - I have taken Squirrel up to Fox with this ammo.

Even before CCI started loading for Rem 22wmr. Now granted being rimfire it does not appear to react like a centerfire psp, but being 40gr it does have a similar poi as the 40gr jhp. In my book this is very usfull. If anyone has shot squirrel with 22mag before you know what I mean.
To good shootin'
