Leupold Var II 3.5x10 - 40AO $479

Or

go w/ the leupold u wont be dissapointed look around on ebay and othe rplaces on the internet for a leupold vari x III in 3.5-10x40 fully multi coated and completely waterproof and very bright and clear w/ a lifetime guarantee and made in the U.S. u can find them for 300-400$ online because leupold came out with their new vxIII's and most places are trying to get rid of their old stock to make room i got a leupold vari xIII 3.5-10x40 for my new rifle for 330$+ 10$ shipping i also have a leupold vari xIII 3.5-10x50AO for my 300 win mag and i have a leupold vari xII 3-9x40 were u talking about the vari xIII or xII ? because the xII comes in 3-9 and the xIII in 3.5-10 I dont have much experience w/ nikon but buy good glass u wont regret it and everyone i know considers leupold #1 hope this helps

BIce, don't know if you picked your scope yet but as a tiebreaker I would go with Leupold due to their customer service. I recently contacted them about a replacement part and they did a great job of getting me taken care of,

save yourself 100.00 and buy a bushnell 4200 elite. it'll be brighter than the leupold and has the raingaurd feature. if you hunt in any type of weather and do not stop the hunt once the mist comes, you owe it to your self to use a elite series of scope with the raingaurd. oh by the way (i'm not trying to knock the leo's) the 4200 elite is brighter than the vari x II and the nikon. but you wont go wrong with any that you listed. for the record, the elite series of scopes are the old baush & lomb scope. they have a lifetime warenty.
