Anyone else having trouble getting into shotgunworld.com? Say debug mode when I try to get on the forums? Perhaps I got banned?

You didn't get banned (most likely). Recently some hackers did some damage to both Shotgunworld and Shootingworld. The site's owner Jay Gentry is currently trying to fix what the hackers damaged and that is why Shotgunworld is down.

Yep, Shotgunworld was hacked. They had installed hidden scripts that used our site to break into other sites. Then those sites to break into others and so on. That was the reason Shotgunworld forums were sometimes slow...their processes were bogging us down. To protect the other sites I removed access to certain directories on ours, which also affected our own forum scripts. We're working on it...okay we hired someone to fix it...it was beyond my skills. :roll: We hope it will be back up soon. Wish us luck.

Good luck with the problem. computor problems sure do suck especially when they effect many persons. don't know how long i can go without shotgunworld especialy now that wisconsin waterfowl is closed ! I'm not big on centerfire cause its illegal to hunt with em around my parts otherwise I'd register up with shooting world here so i guess i'm gonna have to wait or register and lurk in off topic

Shotgunworld back up

Shotgunworld is up and worm free (it was actually a worm). Shootingworld was updated also. We still have some minor tweaks and changes to do on both, but it shouldn't take long or cause any issues. Thanks for your patience ya'll.
