I have an old Wester Field .22 Bolt Action. The barrel has some rust and the bolt action could probably use a good cleaning/lube. Any suggestions on the best way to do this. Is there a way for me to get the rust off the barrel?
    Thanks,

It really depends on the amount of rust and the location.Mild rust may go away or at least slow down with a little cleaner and light oil. If it's worse than just lite rust, you may need to take some steel wool to it. If you do this, you may need to reblue it(the barrel). As for the bolt, try some of the aerosol cleaners such as Brakefree.

    Try Rem-Oil or Sheath.
