i have a 710 in .270. this is by far my favorite rifle. it was cheap, and it shoots great. i have taken countless hogs with it, and even a couple of turkeys.

i also have a remington 597. that thing is a lot of fun to shoot.

and i have a couple 870's

I own only one Remington rifle. It started out as a Rem 700 BDL in 7mm Rem Mag but I customized it. Match grade stainless Pac-Nor barrel, McMillan thumbhole stock, detachable quick klip coversion, Jewell target trigger, and topped it off with a Sheperd 3-10x rangefinder scope. Sweeeet! 8) I still kept it chambered in 7mm Rem Mag. :D

Greetings to all.

I am pleased to own a Remington 700 Varmint Caliber .223 BDL rifle. It has a 20" barrel, Leupold Vari-X III 6.5 20X50mm Long Range M1 Scope and a Harris 1A2 Ultralight Bipod.

The reliability and accuracy of this long gun is outstanding. It is durable and easy to carry in bad weather and all kinds of terrain.

A photo of it is posted on my photo site:

Brand new Mod 700 DM mountain rifle in 7mm-08. (Still waiting for it to arrive, picking out a scope). 20 ga. 870 Express that I use for home defense--it has the youth barrel on it. :)

EDIT: sorry I keep dancing around like an idiot talking about my new rifle. What can I say? It's love at first (telescopic) sight.

Remington 552 .22 semi-auto that was my grandfathers and it shoots better then any .22 I have ever owned, and there were plenty.
I recently purchased a Remington model 7600 in .308 that I am still waiting for a scope to come in at the local gun shop. I will be mounting a Swift 2X7X40 for close cover deer hunting. I am using 150 grain Core Lokt Soft Point.
This is not the fist Remington pump. I have had .270, 30-06, and a 870 12 gauge.
Remington is the best "for me".

I own a Remington 710 in .270, and a 597 .22 LR. The 710 is fitted with a Simmons ATV 4.5-14x40mm Scope and is a real tackdriver out to 250 yds. I have those Stoney Point Target knobs....they are pricey but are better than a coin. Plus, they are graduated to make adjustments and help you remember your original zero. The 597 has a BSA fixed 4x scope and is good out to 75 yds. Got a lot of woodchucks with this rifle and they were all clean kills.

I want to get a new Remington 700 Police or a 597 in .17 HMR. I here they are both excellent rifles. I have to wait as My Mossberg HD gun cost me some Benjamins.

I only have one but would like to add some other Remingtons to keep it company as I am able to do so, particularly the Wingmaster and Express shotguns. I still have a 700ADL 25-06 which was purchased 30 years ago and used it to bag several deer when I was still new to the sport. It was also the first firearm my son used and brings back a lot of fond memories.

Currently a 700 in .375 H&H Mag and a 514 in 22LR. Had a 700 in 25/06 years back but traded it for a .54 T/C Renegade and other assorted blackpowder equipment. Toying with getting a 597 in 22 Mag that's in the clearance section of a local sporting goods store. It's a little rich for my blood yet but I think I can get it for another $50 off if it lasts a month more.
