ive narrowed it down to a remington 700 cdl, 700 sps, which one performs the best etc....
I have not used either, but any Remington 700 will work fine. I have a BDL and love it. I would just pick one according to the features you like because both of them will give you a life time of service.
A Remington 700 is a Remington 700 is a Remington 700... Unless you're looking at a target/varmint gun with a heavy barrel, the differences are only cosmetic; the stuff that counts is all the same.
...Basically what wwb said. I think you can't go wrong with either. Pick based on features that you like...or need. If you really can't decide - just get both. Tell your significant other it's o.k.; your purchase was approved by some guy on ShootingWorld.
