Does the Winchester Model 70 Super Shadow have a plunger ejector or a standing ejector? I prefer the plunger ejector because the cartridge is ejected with the same force regardless of how the bolt is withdrawn.
The action utilizes a blade-type fixed ejector. The shooter controls the amount of ejection by the speed the bolt is worked. Ideal for shooters who sometimes want to save their brass, yet want to “kick” it out in high intensity hunting situations. This is a feature only available on the most expensive Classic Winchester Model 70s, until now.
