oh my if i ever have too much money, ill get one of those, or maybe make my own cartrige up. like .22-.50BMG or something or even neck it down to .17, that would be a sight to behold
yup- P.O. Ackley had a two volume set of books out years ago detailing many cartridges, factory and wildcats. This was one of them. Whoever was doing it was trying to set a new velocity record, used a barrel with no rifling according to the writeup. And you thought the .220 Swift torched barrels!!!
Ya never know. Maybe the barrel was forged by elves. They're good at that kinda thing, ya know. In any barrel, you'd maybe get a lifespan of a box of ammo before you had to get a new barrel.
